Action "Vision - Large double wave" artweek Berlin
Model Bronze / unique 460 x 180 x 120 cm.
Location: in front of POSITIONS Postbahnhof
The "Large double wave" was first to be seen and to be touched in the exhibition "UNSICHTIG".
It involves the idea of a pair of thighs. Both parts thereby form a whole.
The first pair of thighs in bronze (32 x 18 x 9 cm) was created in 2012 as a unique item and now belongs to a private collection. There was a revised edition of 6 copies. The artist’s goal and vision is to realize them for the public space in a size of about 30 x 10 x 7 meters, so that you can walk through the legs.
In order to approach this project, Meininger seeks the public and now produced a model with bronze coating with a dimension of considerable 460 x 180 x 120 cm. Optics and surface feel correspond with bronze, only these are still mobile and will be shown at various locations.
